The Lyon Alehouse, in Valeggio sul Mincio – Verona -Italy, is a work with combines a lot of inputs.
The most important goals for the commission were to heath a cold modern concrete structure and to show how craft beer is made by the company.
According to these directions, it was decided to use raw materials like iron and old oak’s wood to create a warm atmosphere that follows the company philosophy. These materials were used to make tables and pub’s counters. The Alehouse Lyon is ulteriorly heated by the use of warm light (2500K) provided by a large use of vintage glass bulbs, from the company Amarcords, an italian brand specialized in vintage Lighting.
Another particularity of this work is that was decided to insert a large number of vintage motorcycles, a strong passion of the commission, preferring Italian historical brands like Ducati and Moto Guzzi.
The last particularity of this work is the special glass structure that links the beer production site with the lounge, showing directly to the customers how the craft beer is made.
